Joseph K. McDonald, Sr had spent over 50 years in the construction business and founded McDonald Construction in 1970. Hailing from New Haven, CT, McDonald was a mud-on-the-boots construction executive who had an expansive career in that included carpentry, framing, complex construction work, and construction management.

Joe, Jr. has led engineering and field-based operations for more than 30 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he studied Architectural Engineering; he also minored in Architectural Design at Roger Williams College. As the leading point for the firm’s design-build team, Joseph has an expansive career that includes carpentry, concrete, and steel. He makes sure projects are done efficiently and in a timely fashion, and is in charge of quality control.
Sherrye M. Krause, Comptroller/Office Manager
Sherrye has been with us since the beginning. She began at our firm as a bookkeeper, and is now responsible for all accounting functions and is integral in the company’s computerization process. She also oversees job cost, contract administration, change orders, payroll, and recordkeeping.
